Estonian University of Life Sciences is glad to invite you and your colleagues to participate in the VI International AGROFORUM MARE BALTICUM – Digital Future of the Global Agriculture, which will take place on April 17-19 2018 in Tartu, Estonia. The event will end with the opening of the XXVI International Agricultural Exhibition Maamess 2018.
The aim of the Agroforum is to unite the efforts of ministers of agriculture, senior officials, managers of agricultural universities, and agricultural association leaders of the Baltic Sea region and China, Moldova, the Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in order to develop potential cooperation on political, administrative, research and development and entrepreneurial level. Keynote speakers will be from the FAO, the European Commission, the OECD and the Agricultural Ministry of China, as a special guest.
The focus of the conference is on digital data that is created through contemporary agriculture and connected research, and will discuss the opportunities, usage rights and obligations of this data. The in-depth discussions will look into innovation, smart solutions and digitalisation of agriculture that is part of modern agriculture.
Conference is free of charge; however, participants are expected to pre-register and to cover their own travel and accommodation costs. Forum catering, transportation within Estonia and free access to the Agricultural Exhibition Maamess 2018 will be offered by the organisers. The expenses of the agreed speakers will be covered in full.
The registration will be open until 1st of April 2018. The number of seats and reserved accommodation is limited, so please hurry with your registration.
