Baltic Sea Region University Network and St. Petersburg State University of Economics are glad to announce the Annual BSRUN Forum 2018 “Implementing University Strategy and Mobilities” which will be held on June 7th in St. Petersburg, Russia.
St. Petersburg State University of Economics also known as UNECON is one of the leading Russian universities with over a century experience in educating top professionals in economics and management. UNECON has a long tradition of building and maintaining international links. Strategy 2025 positions UNECON as international hub, integrator of world’s best knowledge and competence in the field of economics, business and entrepreneurship on the basement of international academic and professional cooperation. Our learning environment allows students to gain an international outlook and engage with global academic issues through vast exchange programs, double degree programs, international scientific projects etc.
The Annual BSRUN Forum 2018 will address current issues of university strategic development and planning and the role of mobility in the process of internationalization. The mobility is one of the very basic but very important tools of international cooperation. Nowadays mobility schemes of students and staff are widespread and well-funded but need to be carefully managed. Researcher’s mobility in the Baltic Sea Region is a new promising goal for the Council of the Baltic Sea States and National Ministries within the Baltic Science Network project.
The Forum will bring together higher education professionals from all the BSR countries including colleagues from international offices, faculty, and university leadership and student organizations. The expected number of participants is up to 100. The conference languages will be English and Russian (simultaneous translation is provided).
