Lithuania joins the European molecular biology elite club

Digital health literacy Massive Open Online Courses: Watch videos or download leaflets in national languages

IC-Health develops Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCS) to support European citizens providing them a means to better navigate health information on the web and so improve their overall digital health literacy. The H2020 project has prepared short leaflets in national languages and short videos. The videos present the benefits of digital health literacy, give a short insight into the MOOCs, and showcase testimonials

BONEBANK-Harvester successfully tested in the US

The BONEBANK-Harvester has been tested with with anatomical specimen. The test certifies the safe function of the device and a good handling for the surgeon in different deployment scenarios. The tester confirmed the applicability of the device during the operation and the low risk assessment for the patient.

How to access the Baltic Fracture Competence Center – easily explained

The project partners from the University Medicine Greifswald have created a video that explains step by step how hospitals can register with the Transnational Fracture Registry Platform to participate and enter patient data. This platform is the core infrastructure element of the BFCC project to collect research data regarding fracture management and fracture-related complications.

HealthBio 2018: Biggest annual Finnish biotech company meeting, Turku 5 - 6 September

The HealthBIO is the biggest annual Finnish biotech company meeting, gathering ca 200-250 attendees every year. Tero Piispanen, Director, internationalisation and Health Turku - and vice chairman of ScanBalt - will present the Finnish Biotech year 2018. Day 1 is a seminar with networking dinner, and the next day a partnering event is organized together with Business Finland and European Enterprise Network EEN.
