Belarusian State University
BSU is in the Top 300 Best Universities according to the Shanghai Subject Ranking in Physics. Since 2017, BSU has been the only one to represent Belarus in this ranking. This year’s result is equivalent to entering the top 1% among 30,000 universities around the world.

LAB University of Applied Sciences
A large-scale circular economy laboratory will be completed on the Lahti campus of LAB University of Applied Sciences. The circular economy laboratory will significantly increase research, development and innovation activities in the Päijät-Häme region. The main goal of the laboratory  is to act as a circular economy operating environment implementing the Lahti region’s circular economy strategy. It is designed to serve companies in the neighboring areas in particular, as well as project activities and teaching at LAB and LUT.

University of Turku
The Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2021 published by the Shanghai Ranking ranked altogether 4,000 universities in 54 subjects. The University of Turku was ranked in 21 subjects.

Gdansk University of Technology
GUT is the best among Polish universities in the area of scientific influence according to the CWTS Leiden Ranking. The CWTS Leiden Ranking is based on bibliographic data from the Web of Science (WoS) database. The university ranks 251-st in Europe  and 613-th in the world.

CC STOS (Smart and Transdisciplinary knOwledge Services) of Gdańsk University of Technology is being built on the campus of the university, at Traugutta Street. The investment is to act as a multidisciplinary data collection and processing center – in accordance with the latest global standards. The possibilities of CC STOS can also be used in scientific research in the field of physics, chemistry, astronomy, biotechnology or medicine, as well as for implementation research for the commercialization of science.

University of Białystok
The University of Białystok was included in the prestigious group of 25 Polish academic universities listed in the annual ranking of disciplines – Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS). This ranking has been published since 2017 by the Chinese agency ShanghaiRanking Consultancy. It includes 54 disciplines assigned to 5 fields: natural sciences, medicine, social sciences, life sciences, as well as technical and engineering sciences. The breakdowns for individual disciplines included a total of 1,800 universities from 93 countries. The University of Białystok was included in the GRAS ranking thanks to the Faculty of Physics – it is in this discipline (Physics) that the largest university in Podlasie was ranked in the TOP-500, i.e. the top five hundred highest-ranked universities from around the world. UwB was included in the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects for the first time.

University of Warsaw
Mathematics and Physics, run by the University of Warsaw, were ranked 76-100 in the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) compiled by ShanghaiRanking Consultancy. Also, nine other UW subjects were listed in the ranking.

Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University
Rector Alexander Fedorov presented the draft of the new IKBFU campus to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov. Its area is 29 hectares. Today, there are already two educational and administrative buildings there, sports facilities and university dormitories. The construction of the new buildings will contribute to the concentration of university’s facilities in one location.
