BSRUN participation in the conference on student-centric university held at Yanka Kupala GrSU
Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno hosted an International scientific and practical conference “Student-Centric University: Continuity and Traditions of Education, Innovations and Development Prospects” on 27-28 February 2025. The conference was timed to the 85-th anniversary of the university and dedicated to the issues of higher education system functioning given adoption of new technologies and approaches to learning and upbringing of young generation.
Administrative representatives, experts and students of universities – current and former members of BSRUN (Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, Belarusian State University, St. Petersburg State University of Economics, The North-West Institute of Management of RANEPA, Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, Francisk Skorina Gomel State University) participated in the session “Student-Centric Education, Student Co-Governance and Leadership Development” and discussed such topics as the role and experience of student self-government in creating a comfortable university environment, interaction between university administration and student community, involving students in planning educational and public spaces, engaging volunteers in managing different activities, modern practices of student upbringing and youth policy.
